Yo, NoR, up for another game of chess? You sure sounded like it before... And since you moved first last time, i'll just say "1) d4" and see if/how you respond... *wants a little practice before his next tourney*

This is stupid. All you need to do is find one of those chessmaster programs that it takes a grandmaster to beat and plug the other person's moves in.

I really couldnt care less if NoR does that. I'm playing for practice because next weekend i'm at a chess tournament and i need some games to get ready. This is not even the only game i am playing right now. I could do that also, since i have many programs that do that (fritz and chessmaster8k, to name 2) but i'm not going to because it isnt the point.

whats fritz?
i spar against Xtreme Chess. its nice cause it has tons of opening books for ya. which i will admit that i use against ya (the opening books.... i think the program has kinda weak middle game IMO.)

Fritz is a computer proggie that basically analyses a situation and spits out a list of moves that are possible in it. It is advertised as being rated around 1800, though from opponents i've played and toying with the program i've seen it to be slightly better than that.
You're using opening books?!? Sad... I've memorised mine. I guess that would explain playing a6 then. That is an old move and isnt played very often. It puts you down quite a bit in development. Too bad i've got to go to sleep now, or i'd give a responce.

The pawn... Otherwise it would have been Ne5...
Nf3 is not in your opening book for queen's gambit accepted? hmm... I've seen it played many times, perhaps your opening book is like the middlegame: incomplete
