My arguement will revolve around the fact that the government has a duty to protect its citizens, even from themelves, and that most Libertarian views have catches.
So, any takers? There should be, since like half of you seem to be Libertarians...

Aw fuck it. I'm not going to stand by and let some Eurotard "defend" Libertarian ideals. I'll accept your challenge.
Allowing people the freedom to choose their own actions, even self-destructive actions, is preferable to submitting to an authority that can easily be corrupted into a self-serving dictatorship.
Kindly supply examples of the "catches" in Libertarian views, and we'll start discussing specifics.

QWOT, please give me a few days; I'm still recovering from a nasty bout of the flu, and my work/schoolwork has gotten pretty heavy. I'll try to give a good responce by Thursday.
