Birthday 13 August 1982
Location Canberra, Australia
Interests I'm attending Australian National University, in Canberra, Australia. Where i'm majoring probably in economics and religion study. With the end hope of becoming a writer (logical, eh?). With a bit of polsci thrown in.

Enjoy Philosophy (non-historical, ie i really couldn't care who said what and when, just what is said). I know a "tiny" bit about religion. I'm agnostic.

Competetively, i've played tennis, badminton, table tennis (4 times represented state at national championships) cricket, basketball (sucked at it), and rugby (thanks to thinking "compulsory winter sport" at catholic school actually meant "compulsory winter sport", the sport for neanderthals, no offense, and christ, most of those neanderthals aren't even that good at it).

Currently i'm doing Yuh shih tao kung fu at university, and barring a couple of sprained wrists and fingers from training, and dislocating my friends knee (which we later were told at hospital was due to his weird knees that he never knew about, having never played sport in his life :| ) and a seemingly infinite number of bruises, i'm pretty stoked about how well its coming along :)

I'm pretty much 6 foot tall. And 80 kilograms for those using the superior metric system. I'm 20 now, born on friday the 13th, august, 1982. Brown hair. Blue eyes. Single :P.

People shit me to no end. Complete ignorance and stupidity pervades 99%+ of humanity. Democracy doesn't work. And communism is for the intellectually bankrupt.

Appeal to ignorance seems to me to be the most widely used logical fallacy, by either side of any arguement. I'm a moral relativist, but that does not mean there's no such thing as a best course of action, or a superior path, you damn morons, and neither does it mean i go around raping babies for kicks.
There is no such thing as human rights, a right to arms, a right for a country to exist, rights of a soveriegn nation, nor a right to "freedom", but once again, this doesn't mean one should go around whiping everything out.

The bible contains hundreds of errors and contradictions, those placing faith in its inerancy could do the world a favour with compulsory steralization. Similarly, i hold little respect for those who call themselves "christian" yet folllow none of the teachings of christ, or only pick out the things they like in the bible and ignore the rest. Faith will not bring about salvation.

I am not a right winger, a left winger, a conservative, a liberal, a capitalist, nor a marxist (god forbid). I commit myself to no ideology, no sacred text, and no segregation or society (baring of course the JFTD), nor race, nor class. i am not a nihilist. I am open to all arguements, all viewpoints. Unfortunately, most of those are wrong.

And that my friends, is acow in a nutshell.

I wish i was a moron.
My god...perhaps i am...

Suicide is man's way of telling God, "You can't fire me, because I QUIT!"
