I'd like to know what the Right thinks about the abortion of early fetii (plural of fetus?) compared to refusing to conceive. Both have the exact same result-in either regard, the concious being that could have been was not.
So whats the moral difference in ending its life in the womb as opposed to not having it in the first place? I have my own ideas, but none of them hold up too well. Most are based on an argument of principle, which does not work well in this case because principle can be very hard to defend when no concious being is invovled (granted, I believe in enviromentalist principles, but I find them fairly hard to defend.) |
