Yeah, because Israel is the best choice to assasinate a leader of an Arab country. Saddam had numerous doubles, and hadn't used a telephone for ten years, it was hard to track him down.

Where do you get the idea that Israel would want the job of hired assassine for the US or any other country? What a put down.

Your grandfather's question has no merit. Ask him why he didn't hire out for the job if it's such a moral, political, economic and ethical solution.

I think the point he is trying to make is that the war couldn't be avoided. I can't really understand him, he lost most of his jaw from cancer. I'll ask him again.

Indeed. Dealing with Uday would be even worse than Saddam. You'd have to take out his entire family.
