I see the concept of "nationalism" to be taken far to seriously. Especially this day and age after we have seen two world wars emerge from such a concept.

No the differnce being that at one time they were one nation and they were divided due to politicla strife. They coulnd't visit each other and could have no contact. This is not the case in illegals coming across the border there are legal ways to do this.

That would also have depended if West Germany had laws against East Berliners fleeing across the border

Why is it so difficult for you to understand that you are not an American at all? Why do you feel that by the fact that you are "Right-wing" and "Anglo-Saxon" that you are more "American" then me? That is what I would really like to know.

You came to the US illegally, and defended your right to do so, my ancestors created the backbone of the US, so STFU.

Most Hispanics tend to be left wing for some unknown reason.

Maybe because they see rightwings as represented by jackasses such as yourself? Squeakiest wheel and whatnot, y'know.. except in this case, it gets attention, not oil. :)

I know this comes as a shock to you, but not all Americans between the years of 1776 and 1890 were white.

Now, if you're going to drag your ancestors into this, then listen to this little tune I made up. I call it, "the founding fathers wanted this place to exist for whomever wanted to be free." It goes like so:

---
the founding fathers wanted this place to exist for whomever wanted to be free. La la la. La.

---

By bringing your ancestors into this, you've just proven that you're a worse person than they ever were. Good job!

US hispanics tend to be very conservative on social issues, devout catholics and all that. But they tend to vote democrat since they look to the govt to solve most problems.

ps
lotsa hispanics in the military, liam. Pulling that patriotic crap just makes me giggle. Real patriots go out and get shit done, not trolling and flaming on message boards (:

Florida latinos i.e., Cubans, tend to be Republicans, but most other Hispanic Americans in this country tend to be Democratic leaning. Needless to say, I don't agree with the Miami Cubans that much. The divide is still pretty close, I believe 60% voted for Kerry and 40% voted Bush in the last election. You also have to understand that there is a kind of divide in the Republican party itself over the immigration issue. Bush himself has been more "open" to the idea of more immigration, he called the Minutemen "vigilantes" and has advocated work permits so that migrants to work in the states and travel back to their homelands without problems. Also, as Shen pointed out there are many hispanic americans in the military, which of course itself has been historically conservative. From my experience I can tell you this though, it is always the "third generation" latinos tend to be "Republicans", not actual recent immigrants or sons of immigrants. The only recent immigrants or sons of immigrants that tend to be Republicans are devout Catholics.

Ryan, get you mouth out of America's cock

Ryan, it has to be some sort of rub to you that my Irish ancestors which you persecuted came to the US and are part of the reason Britain didn't starve to death in WWI and WWII.
